Welcome to
March 2-4, 2017
Frank DeMieroDee Daniels

Last March we once again had a fantastic Jazz Fest. This one of course was special being the 40th Anniversary and we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.

We have already begun to organize and plan for next year’s Jazz Fest which will take place on March 2-4, 2017. Each year the Jazz Fest is an exceptional opportunity for music students of all ages to gain the esteem of their peers and to work one-on-one with world-renowned jazz artists. It is also an opportunity for our community to access musicianship and entertainment that is truly unparalleled.

Over the years we have presented jazz legends and rising stars – the New York Voices, Dee Daniels, Four Freshmen, Joe Williams, Mark Murphy, Diane Schuur, John Pizzarelli, Carmen Bradford, Greta Matassa, Jon Hendricks, Kevin Mahogany, and Karrin Allyson to mention a few – as well as some of our community’s finest jazz ensembles: the Kennelly Keys Music All Star Big Band, Seattle Jazz Singers and Soundsation. Visit our Memories page for a complete list.

Each evening our guest artists bring their talents to our stage during the magical evening concerts; and each day in an intimate and inspiring environment more than 1500 students have an opportunity to learn from some of the nation’s finest jazz vocal clinicians.

Our festival is made possible through the generous support of hundreds of volunteers and dozens of businesses from throughout the region, as well as the vision of the festival’s artistic director, Dee Daniels.

This year’s festival will come upon us quickly. We are already planning for our Annual Fundraiser “FanJAZZtic” which will be held on Saturday October 22, 2016 at the Edmonds Yacht Club. Save the date! Please contact us if you’d like to donate, become a sponsor, or volunteer. Check back here frequently for further information as new and updated information becomes available. And of course be sure to join us for, and be part of, our next Jazz Fest on March 2-4, 2017!
